Saturday, August 1st, 2009There are fun people to shoot and then there are really fun people to shoot. Mark Rivera and Carl Fischer were hillarious, great guys who were a blast to not only shoot but hang out with for the afternoon.
I did the shoot just hours before they hit the stage with Billy Joel and Elton John.

Tuesday, April 7th, 2009I’m going to start uploading more photos from shoots that don’t end up making it on to my site here. I can only post so many photos from any given shoot so I’ll post some out-takes, behind the scenes, etc. on the blog.
This was a shorter than usual shoot, about 4 hours. It was all done in my studio. Jason is a gifted singer and songwriter.
3 Day Music Video Shoot
Monday, October 20th, 2008I just spent 3 days as DoP (Director of Photography) on 2 music videos for the band December Radio.
I set-up the shots, choose lenses, focal lengths and tried to bring the director’s vision to life through the right camera angles and composition.
Previously I have directed video shoots for both Jars of Clay and Niki Taylor.
Here are a few stills from the shoot. I’ll post the final videos when the edits are done and they can be seen online.

Haste the Day Behind the Scenes Video
Sunday, October 19th, 2008This is a video I just found online of me shooting Haste the Day back in August.
Even though you see train tracks in the vid, no I didn’t shoot them on it. The train shots were a spur of the moment attempt to do something cool with a 3 second shutter speed. Those ones actually came out pretty cool once cropped.
